Kintamani Mountain Cycling

Kintamani Mountain Cycling Cycle from the chill mists at the roof of Bali through local villages to the artisan’s colony of Ubud in the island's signature biking adventure. Fueling up with a light breakfast overlooking the Mount Batur volcano and crater lake, you’ll wind though the back roads, seeing the scenery and vegetation change as you descend one vertical kilometer, through villages inaccessible by car, enjoying local refreshments of fresh coconut and visiting a traditional Balinese house. The morning adventure ends with a feast at the Bridge Café in Ubud.

Horse Riding

Explore hidden scenery and experience the thrill of a gallop along the beach with our horse-back excursion along Saba Bay. After a comprehensive safety briefing from our professional guides, you’ll embark on a memorable horse-riding experience over black volcanic sands alongside the crashing waves of this pristine, seldom-visited beach, with the stark cliffs of Nusa Penida Island and the great volcano Gunung Agung in the background. See the brightly colored jukung boats of the village fishermen and visit the Segara Wilis temple, where offerings are made against the perils of the sea. Elephant Trekking

Befriend a great Sumatran elephant on our Adventurer Elephant Trek! Safely perched on the broad back of this majestic giant, plunge into a verdant tropical landscape, catching glimpses of chattering monkeys and colorful birds, as the trail follows the banks of the scenic Ayung River. At the end of the30 minute trek, you intelligent mount will cool off in the wading pool (while carefully keeping you high and dry!) before delivering you to our restaurant for refreshments overlooking stunning valley scenery.

Carangsari Village Cycling

Cycle into the heartland of Bali with a tour along the back roads of Carangsari, and be granted a glimpse into the daily life and vibrant culture of Bali. The tour, suitable for guests of all ages and physical condition, includes a visit to a typical Balinese household, a stopover at the memorial of I Gusti Ngurah Rai, a national hero and namesake of Bali’s airport born in Carangsari, and ends with a close encounter with the surprisingly well-mannered monkeys inhabiting the sacred nutmeg forest at Sangeh. Lunch is served overlooking panoramic vistas of nearby Ubud.

White Water Rafting Ayung River

Sobek's two hour, visually spectacular rafting trip down the Ayung River is made even more enjoyable by the secure feeling of using the SAFEST rafting company available for your trip. This adventure for guests of all ages is a mix of wild excitement, breath taking views and well-guided, informative, sightseeing. As you carve through some of Bali's most appealing landscape, the Ayung River provides a thrill that begins the moment you push of from the riverbanks. As you switch between Class II and III rapids, you will wind through deep valleys with cascading waterfalls and towering cliffs of prehistoric significance. On the more leisurely stretches through tropical forests you will see Hindu shrines that are brightly decorated on ceremonial days of prayer.

Ubud Hiking

This exhilarating trek takes you through Bali's most fertile region at Ubud. Despite the modern lifestyle that most Balinese have adopted, the farmers of this area still continue the heritage of traditional agricultural practices, which include terraced rice fields and shared irrigation systems. Offering a peek at rural Bali, Sobek have put together a tour to help you understand how and where the local people forge their simple existence, and give you glimpses of how dedicated the Balinese are to their land and to their Hindu Culture.

Telaga Waja River

The thrilling Telaga Waja adventure begins in the foothills of the sacred Mount Agung, after an in-depth safety and equipment briefing by Sobek's experienced guides. From the time you drop into the first set of rapids, your heart will be racing and adrenalin pumping. In a continual spray of white clear water, you will rush past steep banks and ancient hanging trees, whilst rafting guides will give you instruction and work with you to safely navigate the raft through torrents, twists, tight turns and inclined rapids. Overhead obstacles, narrow gorges and breathtaking views of terraced rice plains all along the way will give you an appetite for your final challenge! The Water Dam! Hold on, Take a deep breath, and down you go! The Sobek Telaga Waja experience is a fantastic experience from start to finish. From the moment you put on your Life Jacket and Helmet and take a tight grip of your paddle to the very second you finish your last taste of the delicious mouth watering buffet, this really is thrills all the way!
